We take pride in offering quality and comfortable lodging accommodations here at Big Bay Point Lighthouse Inn. For the comfort of our guests, and to help us welcome them all effectively, we ask that you review our policies before making your reservation at our Inn.
Maximum Occupancy: Two persons - all rooms.
Big Big Bay Lighthouse is available for guests 21 and older.
Deposits: A deposit equal to your first night’s stay is required to guarantee your room reservation. The balance, due at checkout, may be paid by cash or credit card. When renting more than one room, a 100% deposit is required.
Cancellations: Cancellations for overnight visits are subject to a $50 service charge. Overnight cancellations made with less than 30 days notice will be refunded, at 90% of the cost paid, less a $50 service charge, only if the reservation can be rebooked. If the reservation cannot be re-booked, the entire amount is non-refundable. Rebooking - Guests rescheduling their visits are subject to a $30 rebooking fee. Rebooking with less than 30 days notice is subject to a $60 rebooking fee. All cancellations must be sent via email.
Travel Insurance:
Given the nature of life, we understand that you might need to cancel. We are strongly suggesting that our travelers get trip insurance.
If for any reason you need to cancel, this insurance could cover non-refundable costs of your trip, and could allow for a last minute cancellation. Square Mouth is just one of many companies that offer this insurance. AAA may also offer this coverage.
Check In: 4 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. *Eastern Time Zone* - Sorry, we cannot accomodate early or late arrivals. Please plan your day to arrive between 4-6pm. You must arrive by 6pm, or you forefit your reservation and deposit. Calling and leaving a message, does NOT allow for an arrival after 6pm.

Breakfast: 8:30AM. Breakfast trays will be provided each morning. We are happy to change recipes for severe allergies, but are not able to prepare foods for specialty diets.
Pets are not allowed.
No smoking inside the buildings.
Access to the Inn is exclusively for guests during their stay.
Access to the kitchen facilities is for staff only.
Group Policy: Rental of whole house is not available. Guests are not able to book more than (2) rooms per stay.
Incidental Damages: We understand that accidents do happen. Please let us know right away if you accidentally cause damage. We take pride in keeping guest rooms and their contents in great condition. We may ask you to pay for damage that exceeds normal wear and tear.
